Especially for this kind of tourists, we have thought some fascinating tours that take into account the duration of the vessel's docking in the harbour.  The Harbour of Cagliari

 A short tour of the city of Cagliari

Cagliari is the largest town in Sardinia as well as the administrative center of the autonomous region. The walk through the old part of the city starts from the main street - Via Roma, which stretches along the coast and the port of Cagliari. The gaudy arcades form an elegant gallery, that give a festive atmosphere to the entire coast line. In the upper part of the City, one of the most important fortifications of Cagliari is the Bastion of San Remy, who has a roof terrace which bears the name of '' Umberto I ''. The nearby Elephant Tower was built by Pisa in 1307. Special attention it is deserved by the Cathedral of Santa Maria, built in the first decade of the thirteenth century, and in the nearby square is the second largest defensive tower of the city called '' San Pancrazio ''.

To discover the charm of the city of Cagliari, to feel the beauty of the old districts, to enjoy local delicacies and admire fascinating views and to be surprised by the charm of pink flamingos - all this will be enough to make you want to come back here again!

The old town, as well as the heart of the city, is the Castle district, a place full of fascinating spots. Guests can visit the Archaeological Museum in the "Cittadella dei Musei", or visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria, first built by the Pisa's conquerors, but modified over the centuries, to become the symbol of the Cagliari's current  history. Inside the Cathedral are the Pisan sculptures, Aragonese chapels and a large crypt, where are preserved the remains of the martyrs. Nearby are two towers from the thirteenth century, from which you will be able to can view the whole city.

Near Cagliari it is also a unique park of its kind, Montelargius. Its saltworks have become home to an incredible number of wild birds. The pride of this park are the pink flamingos. During the tour you can see dozens of birds flying over the ponds and resting in the shallows.

Harbour of Olbia

Panoramic Overview of the Costa Smeralda

Olbia is in the north-east of Sardinia, and is one of the most important harbour cities of the island. North of the city, about 20 km, lies the town of Porto Rotondo, one of the most popular tourist areas of the Costa Smeralda. White beaches and spectacular scenery have attracted many people for so long, and many have decided to buy a home for the holidays, such as former Italian Prime Minister as well as Italian Multimilionaire businessman Silvio Berlusconi.

Visitors to the city of Porto Rotondo, should pay special attention to a particular church internally decorated with Siberian spruce pine wood in the shape of an upturned ship. You should also visit the outdoor theater which has a large semi-circular staircase of rough granite. The designer of these architectural masterpieces is Mario Ceroli.

Continuing the journey we will take you to the capital of the Costa Smeralda, Porto Cervo. The refined style of this city, made up of two different architectural styles, Arab, and Sardinian, will attract your attencion creating a charming atmosphere. The Church Stella Maris, which translated from Latin means "Star of the sea" will surprise you with its unique architecture.

The last stop on the Costa Smeralda is a city that is called Baja Sardinia, where you can dive into the crystal clear waters and relax on the white sandy beaches.

The last part of the tour will take place in one of the most renowned wineries where you can taste delicious wines from Sardinia, including "Cannonau", the wine ofSardinian centenarians, or white wine, with notes of tropical fruit.

The port of Porto Torres

From the Roman period to the Middle Ages: a glorious past that emerges through archaeological sites, monuments and museums of Porto Torres. The city, that has two thousand years of history, is told through his treasures, a casket embellished by the natural beauty of a rugged coastline, by the beaches,  by the Promenade of Balai and by Asinara, former penal colony and now a National Park. Spend a pleasant stay in Porto Torres, end enjoy its history, art, landscapes and culture-

Worthwhile seing: The Basilica of San Gavino, the largest Romanesque building in Sardinia, is unique for its plant in longitudinal development, characterized by the presence of two facing apses. The Atrium Metropolis, in the south side of the San Gavino Basilica, with excavations that have brought to light earlier settlement remains, the building of the Romanesque basilica. There is being excavated a portion of the pagan and Christian necropolis of Turris Libisonis.

Museum Antiquarium Turritano and Julia Colony Turris Libisonis: in the Antiquarium Turritano are numerous findings of ceramic, marble statues and mosaics, found in the nearby Colony Julia Turris Libisonis. The museum is divided on two floors, with sweeping views over the remains of the Roman city.

The "'Roman City" can be found impressive evidence of the past: the Central Baths (III cent. A.D.). They are also called "Palazzo di Re Barbaro" (Palace of the Barbarian King), who was the governor who condemned to death the martyr Saint Gavino. There also tu be seen the Orpheus Domus, the Baths Maetzke, the Domus of Mosaics and the Peristyle Pallottine.

The building of the "Museum of the Port" is located in the Goodsstock Office of the first railway in Porto Torres, that was inaugurated in 1872. In the building, the windows stand in a way to resemble the shape of a ship. Today the Museum hosts an exhibition dedicated to the Vela Latina, with model boats and very old instruments used for the construction of a Latin sailboat. The Museum also houses the Memorial of the Battleships Roma, Vivaldi and Da Noli. The three Italian Battleships, refused to surrender to the Germans and, on September 9, 1943, where sunk in the Gulf, causing the death of their 1700 sailors.

Guided tour in Alghero

 Alghero is a picturesque town situated in the north-west of Sardinia in a lovely bay in front of the promontory of Capo Caccia, visible from the city's waterfront. The historic city center consists of narrow cobblestone streets and small roads that wind through medieval houses and squares. The Spanish Catalan influence was decisive, leaving a deep imprint on the culture and traditions of the island. Alghero is often called '' Barceloneta '' (little Barcelona) and is considered a small Catalan corner in Sardinia. In town are spoken two languages: Italian and Catalan dialect. In addition, the city of Alghero is the only place  in Sardinia where you can eat "original" paella, the typical Spanish dish, or taste the lobster, Queen of the sea, cooked the Catalan way (Aragosta alla Catalana).

Walking through the city of Alghero, it will be hard to miss the huge number of workshops that create unique coral jewelry. Visiting Alghero you will have the best opportunity to enter the mysterious world of the corals and find all there is to know about it.
